1. Where does your vanilla come from?

All our vanilla pods come from Madagascar, more precisely from the SAVA region (Sambava, Antalaha, Vohémar, Andapa), renowned worldwide for the exceptional quality of its Bourbon vanilla.

Our other varieties ( Pompona, Tsy Taitry ) are also grown locally, respecting traditional methods.

2. What is the difference between your different vanilla grades?
  • Gourmet: long, fat, flexible and very fragrant pods (superior quality).
  • TK (All-Quality): shorter but flexible and very aromatic pods, ideal for regular use.
  • Red Europe / US: drier pods, perfect for macerations, infusions or processing.
  • Cuts: pieces of pods, economical, intended for professionals.
  • Tsy Taitry: rare hybrid (Planifolia x Pompona), with an original scent.
  • Pompona: thick, wild vanilla, very fragrant with woody and spicy notes.
3. How to store vanilla?
  • In an airtight glass jar , at room temperature.
  • Protect from light , humidity and air .
  • Do not refrigerate .
4. What is the shelf life of your pods?

Up to 5 years or more , if stored properly:

  • In an airtight jar, or vacuum-sealed.
  • At stable room temperature, away from light and humidity.
  • Do not rehydrate or refrigerate.

If the pods become stiff, use them as is, without soaking.

5. Can I reuse a pod after infusion?

Yes! You can:

  • Dry it then grind it into powder.
  • Place it in a jar of sugar to make vanilla sugar.
  • Re-infuse it in a homemade syrup or extract.

8. Is the vanilla certified organic?

Our vanilla is grown naturally and without chemicals , but it is not yet officially certified organic .

No pesticides are used on our plantations.
